Taking the euro lower - jawboning a decline

Korean Chosun Ilbo newspaper. "What's interesting is that most of the people concerned about the euro's future do not live in Europe," Wolfgang Schaueble was quoted as saying in an interview.
RTRS-FRENCH PM - I ONLY SEE GOOD NEWS IN PARITY BETWEEN EURO AND DOLLAR
RTRS-FRENCH PM - NOT CONCERNED BY EURO FALL, HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR WEAKER EURO

RTRS FRENCH PM - I HVE NO WORRIES ABOUT THE CURRENT EURO/DOLLAR RATE
So who wants the euro to go higher? It does not seem like there are any strong buyers lined up, so the pressure is for it to move lower. We are in the middle of the Euro range since its inception and we know the EU has policy coordination problems that did not exist a decade ago.
