The EU economy – poor unemployment
Most recent number shows 11.1
percent up from 8.75 levels in 2009. The EU unemployment numbers are3 percent higher than what we see in the US. They are going in the wrong direction relative to the US. It could be argued that the idea of more austerity is not working at solving the problem of unemployment. There needs to be a new shift to growth policies in Europe. Cutting expenditures and taxing will not be the solution.
