While there has been significant excitement about the super-cycle n commodity and the boom in farm revenue, the real prices of row crops have not moved much in the last 25 years. Look at the real prices since 1990. Corn prices have been flat for 25 years. Wheat prices are well below the crisis period during the early 1970's. Soybean prices are still below the level seen in the late 1980's. his does not mean tat we are not in an up cycle. What it does mean that farming is getting more efficient and productivity is still a significant driver in the farm industry. There has been a boom in prices since 2000 and the trend is higher, but there is a lot of room for a super-cycle.
