The decline in crop conditions is severe

The decline in crop conditions have been severe. After looking like this would be a good to excellent year with yield production, the crop conditions turned decidedly negative after the middle of June. This is when pollination and drought came together to create a perfect storm.

The poor conditions in corn were also matched in soybeans which are close substitutes in the region.
