Not a lot of movement on a fiscal problem in the US because no one wants austerity now, and when the future comes, there will be no desire for austerity then.The grand bargain may be a stimulus package today but real cuts in entitlements for tomorrow. Higher premium, new age requirements, cut is subsidies. All are needed as part of the bargain.
